Thanks to former patient Jimmy Ireland for donating over 130 blankets for our patients! At an early age, Jimmy struggled with kidney problems. He was at Dayton Children’s overnight and after his kidney scan, was given a blanket. He remembered how that blanket was such a comfort to him--and that experience led to the decision for his Eagle Scout project. He hopes that his project would be a comfort to other kids, just like his blanket was to him.
